Truncated 2012

truncated2012 download

Don’t Be Shy.

Most people, yes I’m talking to you too fellas, would like to have access to birth control, and reproductive health services.

So if your congressperson, or senator, or president is unwilling to protect your constitutionally affirmed right to family planning then it’s time their career gets truncated.

I’d like this to get as much use and be seen by as many people as possible, so you’re free:
• to Share — to copy, distribute and transmit the work in any media you can think of, in any way that you think appropriate.
• to Remix — to adapt the work and make it your own

The only thing I ask is that you make an attempt to let people know where it came from. Directing them to and asking them to join the discussion would be a good way to accomplish that. You’re also encouraged to keep the MoDMaN signature with the original when you copy it; except of course if you substantially change the original then don’t make it look like I created it.

And don’t sell it and pocket the money… dugh

Fair Use:
The RNC trademark is used as parody, exemplifying the repressive Republican public policy towards reproductive rights.

“ When it gets hot like this, you know what I do? I keep my undies in the icebox!”
– Marilyn Monroe, in The Seven Year Itch.

The likeness of Marilyn Monroe is an illustration created from free-hand drawings and an amalgamation of photographs that were taken by studio PR-photographers and wire-service stringers as part of publicity for 20th Century Fox. Her likeness is meant to embody an elation of, and the courage behind, female sexuality.

Basically I think she’d be horrified to see the rights she never enjoyed in her lifetime, stripped from women 40 and 50-years after they were accepted as settled law.

Two of the more prominent photographers that took images during the PR stunt were George Zimbel and Weegee aka Arthur Fellig; Google them to find fine art prints and reproductions of the originals.
